Logo Application for ESD Apparel: Artwork, Placement and Garment Care
When a logo is needed on anti-static apparel, plan the artwork, placement, garment area and care requirements together before the production brief is approved.
Supply the approved artwork
Use the current approved logo artwork and identify the internal person who can confirm it. State the intended logo size, colour treatment and placement rather than relying on an old garment sample alone.
If several departments need different markings, list them by wearer group. This helps prevent artwork versions from being mixed during programme planning.
Choose placement with the garment in view
Placement should be discussed against the actual garment area, pockets, seams, closures and wearer movement. A position that looks suitable in artwork may need adjustment once the garment construction is reviewed.
Ask for a visual proof or sample step where the programme needs internal sign-off. The proof should be checked for appearance and placement before bulk production is authorised.
Discuss product-specific application and care
Application options and care guidance should be confirmed for the selected garment, artwork and intended use. Avoid treating one method as automatically suitable for every fabric or programme.
Keep the approved artwork, placement reference and garment product record together. This gives repeat orders a clear reference while leaving room to review any changed requirement.
Document the final approval
A short approval record should identify the selected garment, logo file, placement, quantities and approver. It provides a useful control point before production planning starts.
Where a programme has technical or work-area requirements, include the owner responsible for confirming those requirements separately from the artwork approval.
